High in the mountains, this English Tudor-style hotel offers a charming experience. The renovated colonial buildings are beautifully restored, surrounded by fragrant gardens. The attentive staff provide excellent meals, and the comfortable beds ensure a good night's sleep. The log fires in winter create a cozy atmosphere, perfect for those with a sense of history.
No major issues, just one minor aspect to consider.

I recently stayed in a colonial hotel with large bedrooms and well-appointed bathrooms. the tea tray and fruit were a nice touch. the hotel is located up the hill, away from the city center, but it provides a calm and peaceful atmosphere with great views. the staff was attentive and helpful. the breakfast had a reasonable amount of options to choose from.
The hotel charged for the use of Wi-Fi, which seemed unfair.

During our romantic escape, we found the facilities to be charming and well-appointed. We enjoyed the beautiful natural surroundings and the intimate atmosphere. the onsite restaurant provided delicious and high-quality meals that we truly savored. We appreciated being able to stay in such a peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
We were disappointed that we were charged for certain amenities that we had assumed were included in our room rate. The additional fees were quite high and unexpected.

Cozy nights by the fireplace
We were delighted by the cozy nights spent by the fireplace at Amara. The staff was attentive and always ready to light the fire for us. Although the cold weather caught us off guard, the warmth of the fireplace made our stay comfortable. I highly recommend this charming resort.

The hotel cottages were charming and cozy with wood-burning fireplaces, making it perfect for a Thanksgiving stay. We appreciated the complementary fresh produce from the vegetable garden and the daily firewood delivery, which added a nice touch to the overall experience. The location was ideal for exploring the beautiful surrounding nature and nearby town.
We were disappointed by the lack of amenities, such as a refrigerator in the room. Additionally, it was frustrating that the Internet cost an extra fee per day.
